POSCO-PWPC uses high-quality packaging materials.
Based on vast experience and professional approach, we are able to provide high quality steel packaging/repackaging services, ensuring that the material is properly protected against various types of damage.
Our packaging services include:
– Packaging steel coils for transport in troughs (Standard)
– Protecting the outer surface of steel rings with protective paper, foil and VCI paper
– Protecting the inner surface of steel rings with specialised cardboard sleeves
– Protecting ring edges with cardboard, plastic or steel angles (on request)
– Protecting of steel rings against self-expansion with increased strength PET tape or steel tape.
– Packagigng finished rings on wooden pallets (vertical or horizontal axis). The structure can be tailored to customer requirements after prior consultation with the production department.
– Changing the packaging axis
– Placing packets of sheets on wooden pallets (Standard)
– Protecting the packet of sheets with protective paper, foil and VCI paper
– Securing the packet of sheets using increased strength PET tape or steel tape
Materials used for packaging:
– Protective paper and anti-corrosive VCI paper
– Increased strength PET tape
– Steel tape
– Protective film
– Strapping-type packing type (leaves no traces of glue on the surface of steel)
– High quality wood, pre dried
– Other (for consumer requirements)
